The original Beth Israel synagogue from a postcard depicting the temple in 1889. It was located at SW 12th & Main Street until an arsonist set fire to the synagogue on December 29, 1923. This week, we will continue our study of Jewish history and faith in Social Studies. Students will also work on their narrative or imaginative stories, focusing on rough drafts that include a story arc (rising action, climax and resolution).
