Hanging Gardens of Babylon, built in 600 B.C. and destroyed by an earthquake in 226 B.C. They were built next to the palace of King Nebuchadnezzar II for his wife because she missed the green hills and valleys of her homeland. The Hanging Gardens are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World, and would be located in Iraq if they still existed today.
