Language Arts: Final Drafts are due Thursday, October 31st, but will be counted towards Quarter 2 so there is time for regrades and late work. There is a checklist on Canvas on what needs to be done for the final draft!

Social Studies: Students will turn in The Nile & Egypt Packet on Wednesday, November 6. This assignment WILL count for the Quarter 2 final grade.

6th Annual Timmons Anthology Artwork Contest! Please follow these requirements:

• Creative Title
• Ms. Timmons’ 7th Grade Classes
• Fall 2024
• Colorful
• 8.5 x 11 portrait size
• Can be emailed to ktimmons@pps.net or on white blank paper
• Name on back of paper
• Try to keep artwork private
• All submissions due Thursday, November 7
• Voting will take place Friday, November 8 in all classes
• Prizes for top 2 artists: Each will receive a $10 Starbucks card and 2 pounds of candy!
• All artists with effort shown will receive a king size candy bar!
